Today for tip Tuesday, I wanted to share with you guys 3 easy tricks for getting smooth soft and kissable lips! Its summer time and some of lucky goose is having a perfect once in lifetime summer romance and us other not so lucky gooses want to be prepared when the time comes. Or these tips can help you rock the perfect bright summer lip. (Trust me know one wants chapped sun-burned lips when they want to bring out the bright pinks and neon corals!!)
Tip #1: Exfoliating
As you guys know, I am kind of a big fan or exfoliating (I was actually thinking about doing a post all about exfoliating. Would you guys be interested?) And I absolutely love lip scrubs. They are perfect for getting all the nasty dead lip skin cells off and leaving behind beautiful rosy, soft, and yes very kissable lips. I love to make a DIY lemon scrub or, if I am in a rush, take a fingertip of chap stick and dip it into sugar and scrub that way.
Tip #2: Moisture (+ SPF!)
Moisturizing your lips, especially after you've exfoliated them, is super important to keep soft lips. I love EOS and Nivea lip balms! SPF is also a very important factor. Its summer time and believe me when I say, you do not want to get sun-burned lips. They hurt and make you look like you have dragon lips
Tip #3: Color
This is the fun part. I have been loving corals, nudes, and berry colors. I also have been having a slight addiction to chubby sticks and tinted lip balms. But the most important part is determining what your undertone is and following that. If you have a warm tone your want warm orangey-yellow based colors. If you have cool, lean towards blue or pink based cool tones. If your neutral than rock what ever you want!
I hope you guys enjoyed this post and learned something. If you have any other tips for getting summer time lips, leave them below. What is your favorite summer lippie? Leave me the answer down below. And as always...
