For todays Fitness Friday, I wanted to share with you guys a monthly update on my fitness journey including recipes/food I have been loving, workouts that have been working for me, and even a little bit of planner stuff too!

Food
I have been addicted to smoothies this month! I already shared a recipe up on the blog last month of how I have been making my smoothies of late (check it out here) with these Dole Fruit and Veggie packs. I love smoothies as a quick breakfast option or, with a touch of protein powder, it makes a good pre- or post workout snack!
Workouts
I discovered this semi-old workout video on youtube when it popped up in my suggestions box and have been doing it for almost every workout I have done in April. I love that is on youtube because I can set it up on my t.v., laptop, tablet, even phone and do it anywhere in my house or outside! The video is set up into three 1o minute sections for different body parts: abs, thighs, and butt. So depending on how I feel, I can do 1,2, or all 3. I highly recommend this video so check it out below!
Planner
Last but not least, I wanted to share with you guys these inserts that I was using for fitness tracking and as a food diary through out the month of April. I am currently changing up the way I fitness plan in my planner, but I did love these inserts from amyjazdesign on etsy. I love that she offers these for A5, personal, and midori TN. I loved being able to see things easily all at once and that there was a place for weekly goals!
