Hello guys,
I am starting a back to school countdown for myself. I go back to school this coming up this Monday, August 18th, so in exactly 6 days. I have 6 days more of freedom!! Wow, this summer just flew by :( Any who, today I wanted to do a post all about my top 5 organizational tips for back to school.

Tip #1: Locker Shelves
These are a must have if you have lockers. Whether you have half or full sized ones. I have a full and still find these to be amazing (you would think the full sized one has more space but its pretty much useless without shelves!) Shelves help add more space to any locker!
Tip #2: Color Coding
This is a tip that I also recommended in last Tuesday post on note taking and I really do think it makes a difference. I like to color code my binders, notebooks, folders, and files by color; a different color for each class! I love doing this so that way I can just grab in go when I stop by my locker. You can also do this with your textbooks using book covers :D
Tip #3: Planner
This is a definite must have for anyone going back to school or who have a pretty busy life with a horrible memory like me. I have planner for everything. I have one for school assignments, one for the blog, one for life events. If you don't have a planner yet, you need to go get you some!!
Tip #4: Graded work files
This is something I just did last year, when I started high school (which I was actually thinking about doing as a post, like tips and tricks for freshman. Let me know down below if you would be interested in that) , and it has helped me tremendously. I started keeping graded test, quizzes, assignments on topics that I struggled with and started using them as study tools. (I mentioned all of this in an old tip Tuesday about studying). To organize all of these papers, I started to keep them in file folders. Works like a charm =)
Tip #5: Separate online files
This is probably one of my most highly recommended back to school organizational tips. A lot of my class work starting about the middle of last year are turned in online. To make sure I don't lose them in case I need to resend them or if I need them for what were talking about in class that day, I like to keep all of my documents in online folders, organized my class. You can take it one step further and also do it by unit/chapter or even document type (that's what I do, because I am kind of a nerd). This is just really helpful for having everything organized online too!
