Hey guys,
To kick off Jetsetter July, I wanted to talk about the most important item there is when it comes to traveling: your carry one. Whether you flying or driving or your on a train or a bus-- the bag that you have with you must have the essentials you need for how ever long you are going to be traveling. So today's post is all about my essentials for my carry on for no matter where or how long I am traveling that hopefully you guys can take and adapt to your needs for your carry on!
1. Entertainment
Whether its books, a phone, music, whatever keeps you entertained-- bring it. You never want to be bored on any type of long trip.
2. Electronics
No matter how I am getting to my destination-- I make sure to bring all of my electronics and their cords with me in my personal bag. This way I can account for everything and won't lose any expensive items.
3. Snacks
Now this is the really important stuff! I have to have something to eat with me when I am traveling-- especially when I am flying because I am a nervous flyer. If you are going to going through rough altitude changes (i.e driving through mountains or flying) I would bring gum to help pop your ears.
4. Touch Up Needs
On shorter travels, I tend to bring light makeup to put on afterwards like concealer and mascara. If I was doing stuff before I started traveling I will bring touch up stuff and a face mist to keep myself looking fresh. For longer travel-- anything over 5 hours, I will just skip makeup all together.
Well that is it! Let me know in the comments what are your carry on essentials, I would love to know. Also I would love to hear what you guys use as a carry on. I adore my vera Bradley backpack (simply because it color matches my suitcases!), but what do you guys use? I know some use a tote or a purse but I can't because I always feel like its not going to hold all the crap I bring that are not essentials!! :D Have a wonderful day.
