Hey guys,
As most of you know, I have recently started to wear contacts and I am loving them. They make applying makeup easier and I actually get to wear sunnies without look weird because I don't have to layer them on top of my regular glasses! I did have a little bit of trouble with them starting out. So, to help my fellow beginner contact wearers out, I have a couple of things I wish someone would have told me as I was just starting out.

Tip #1: Test a lot of Brands
When trying to find the perfect contact for you, you really want to try out as many brands as possible. I use the Air Optix contacts, as mentioned in my August favorites, but I had to try out 3 different other brands to really found one that didn't irritate my eyes and that worked for me. To try out new brands, you can start off by purchasing dailies (contacts that you wear for one day then through out) or sometimes even ask your optometrist for some free samples!
Tip #2: Find methods that work for you
Putting in and taking out your contacts can be really tricky. Something I did was go on YouTube and search up different techniques for putting in and taking my contacts out, (You will be surprised at how many their are!) then each day I tried out a new method until I found the ones that really worked the best for me. Don't just stick to the techniques that the doctor recommends, if you find a technique that is safe for your eyes and makes it easier on you-- by all means, use it.
Tip #3: Practice, Practice, and More Practice
Finally practice, practice, and more practice. It really does get easier as you do it over and over and over again. Especially after you find a technique that you love-- It will be a piece a cake. Do remember though that this is your eyes that your messing with here. Don't mess with them while upset or if they become to irritated and if you have an emergency-- ask for help or go to the emergency room.

Well that's all! Please remember that I am not a doctor and by no means am I a professional. I have honestly only been wearing contacts for about a month now, and these are just some tips that I have. If you guys have anything else to add on to the list, please leave a comment down below and share with the rest of us!
