I have finals this week and have been studying like crazy. I figured you guys would all be in the same shoes and wanted to give a few tips on how I study for such a big and important test.
Tip #1~ What's on the Test?
So your not wasting time studying the wrong material, ask your teacher or consult a study guide so you can really crack down on what you know is going to be on your finals. If you can't find out what's on the test, check your old quizzes and test. Usually teachers pull themes, if not exact questions, from old exams and quizzes.
Tip #2~ What do you struggle with the most?
After figuring out what is on the exam, hone in on the things you struggle with the most so you can really get them down pact and perfected by your final exam. This doesn't mean that you don't skim and practice the things your confident in. It never hurts to be overly prepared.
Tip #3~ Where do I study?
That depends! Where are you most comfortable? Do like noise or no noise? Music or no music? Pick the place that it is the best for you and your studying needs. When studying on the go, flash cards are perfect! You can easily study concepts, vocab, even specific questions your struggling with, all in between finals!
I hope this helped you! Don't forget that good night's sleep and a healthy breakfast can make a world's difference the night before and the day of your exam. Do you have any study tips that help you out before exams? Leave them down below!
