Hello lovers of movies,
So today I actually planned on doing a summer movie list (if you guys would like to see that some time next week, let me know. I still have the draft), but, after seeing this movie, I just had to do a review about it. I saw how to train your dragon 2 today and absolutely loved it! I am even going to be bold and risk having someone track me down and hold me at gun point by saying... It was better than Frozen!

The movie picks up 5 years after the 1st movie. Everyone is a dragon rider in Berke now and Hiccup is facing the descion of become chief. I loved how the structure of the movies resemble. You have a soliloquy in the beginning and end with a heart stopping battle in between. Hiccup hasn't changed a bit! He still awkward and little shy from confident yet very determined and kind. And toothless! I missed him so much!
The concepts of family, friendship, and loyalty is still very evident in the film. Especially with Hiccup's mother coming in the picture! Yes his mother is back after 20 years! And get this, she is a dragon rider :). Now we know who Hiccup takes after. The heart wrenching part of this movie was when Hiccup's father, Stoick (Gerard Butler), died. I love his charcter and when he did Hiccup did ,yet another, amazing soliloquy.
Needless to say, I loved this movie and Disney, keep up the good work! I hope you guys go see this movie. If you have already let me know your thoughts down below!
