Since a change in the season, a lot of people go out and buy a whole new wardrobe. I wanted to share with you some tips on a few ways you can vamp up your summer wardrobe or reuse some things from last year to make this year easy on the bank without sacrificing any of the fashion!
Tip #1: Layer
I have talked about this a lot last year and you will hear me repeat over and over again this year due to the fact that I absolutely love this trick! Invest in a couple sweaters and cardigans and pair them with your summer tees and dresses and you have a whole new outfit for fall!
Tip #2: DIY
I have a couple of DIYs coming up for you guys this month, and I think this is perfect and easy for transitioning seasons. Just take some old sweaters from last year and paint them or embellish them-- and viola! You have a whole new sweater.
Tip#3: Darker toned accessories
Pairing some of those famous whites that I know you picked up that was really in for summer with some of the darker, warmer tones for fall is perfect. You have a color balanced outfit and you don't have to buy all the basics you already have in different colors. You can pick up fall colored jewelry, bags, nail polishes, and some layering pieces and pair them with your basic tees, jeans, dresses, skirts. Mix and match them to create summer to fall transitioning outfits. Which is basically what fall is good for, right?
