ACT Testing
So on March 1st, I took my ACT test. I was totally freaking out and had a major panic attack before the test. It turned out to be less torture that anticipated! And afterwards I got to go to Michaels, which always makes any day or situation better. I just wanted to share this experience to give a quick tip to all of readers who also get test anxiety: One test does not make or break your life! If you totally bomb one, than you know to change your tactics for the next one and try try try again to do better next time. I have met plenty of people who stress themselves over things like the ACT, SAT, or AP test and though they are important and you should do your best on them, if it doesn't turn out as well as you hopped it won't ruin your life.
San Diego Road Trip
My Spring break was also this month and besides a weekend trip to San Diego to see some family, I didn't do much of anything! I really loved seeing some long distance friends and family and thoroughly enjoyed my trip, especially since I got to be there for my nephew's birthday party, but I hate road trips. I just don't like to be in the car for such long periods of time. And this road trip was especially excruciating because we got a flat tire during the trip, causing us to be stuck on the side of the road for almost an 1 hour! Looking back now it was funny, but obviously at the time I was not a happy camper! And of course because Fate is never kind, my abnormally small bladder decided as soon as we got the flat that it needed to go! We had to pull out all of stuff out of the back to fix the flat and I had to hold my flow for about 90 minutes. Not one of my fondest March memories!
A New Found Hatred For DMV
One of my big goals for Spring break was to get my permit. I stressed out, studied my booty off, and had at least 3 anxiety attacks about this permit test and never ended up being able to take it! I went to the DMV twice within 2 days and both times they told me I had the wrong type of birth certificate. First off, they stopped excepting picture ids as a form of identification, which still boggles my mind and I had no idea that they were multiple types of birth certificates. I apparently can't use my birth certificate from the hospital I was born in but it has to be the one from the state I was born in. Please keep in mind that I was born in Virginia and I live in Las Vegas now. I was not a happy camper. So now I have to wait for my mom to ship me my birth certificate, who currently lives overseas. I know that the people there are just doing there jobs and have no control over the rules of DMV, but I was upset none the less and now have a new found hatred for the DMV.
Well that it! I hope you guys enjoyed this life update. What is your favorite or most upsetting March memory? Please let me know in the comments. I love hearing from you guys and sharing our life struggles :D Love y'all and have a wonderful day <3
