Maybelline claims that these lip glosses will:
1) provide the color of a lipstick
2) care and moisturize like a
balm
3) glass shine like a gloss
I love these glosses because it does all three extent. These glosses
provide excellent shine and they are super moisturizing. They do fade fairly
quickly, within 2-4 hours when your not eating or
drinks, and they are on the sticky side. They do have a strong scent, but I
don't mind that because it smells like vanilla, so I actually like it. They
aren't as pigmented as a lipstick, as the claim states, but I do find they are
pigmented enough to rock on their own with a natural looking effect. If you do
want some va-va-voom, they have a really nice range of bright colors that can go
over a lipstick or lip liner. I find these perfect for everyday use. Especially,
the shade caramel infusion, which has quickly become my favorite color in the
range.
I have three colors out of 20 from the range. I am
hoping to get some more spring- time appropriate colors so I will keep you guys
posted on that. But for right now, I have the colors, in order from left to
right, signature red (beautiful cherry red), caramel infused (nude brown-pink),
and mauve mystique (pinky-mauve).
