I guess this is kinda of my fault bc I signed up for it... It seemed like a good idea at the time...) Any ways, I wanted to share with you guys what I did last weekend to celebrate this federal holiday as a way to reminic

Firework Show
I went to a local carnival on Independence day and saw an amazing firework show! Chicken on a stick, funnel cake, and fireworks. I celebrated the 4th of July in the most American way possible! :)
BBQ Time!
On the day after Independence day, I went to a family friend's bbq. It was quite a nice change because usually my family is the one hosting all the big cookouts, but this time I got to eat someone else's food and didn't have to participate in any labor! We have to start doing that more. ;)
Sweets :P
Of course, no holiday is complete without sweets! On Saturday, I made these fourth of July mini firework cupcakes. (For the recipe click here!) They were quick and fun to make, though a little messy :p, but the end result was quite worth it, if I do say so myself.
That's it! All in all, I had an amazing 4th of July and an amazing 3 day weekend. How did you guys spend your Independence day weekend? Let me know in the comments down below. And as always...
