So im glasses less which is very strange but also very cool. For today's tip Tuesday, I wanted to do some note taking tips. I find I always have this problem when I go back to school that for certain subjects and certain teachers you take notes differently. These tips have really helped me throughout the years to understand any notes that I take!
Tip #1: Highlighters!
I love these babies when it comes to note taking <3 They are amazing for color coding or just highlighting key details.
Tip #2: Be Selective!
Speaking of key details, try to only write down the important stuff. If you have a lot of excess stuff that you don't think your going to need-- don't write it down!! This way your notes are more concise and easier to study in the future :D
Tip #3: Colorful Pens!
I love colorful pens when taking notes. Between color pens and highlighters, my notes look like a rainbow threw up on them. I like to use colorful pens just to make my notes look prettier. I find that when my notes are pretty, Im more likely to look at them. Plus if you don't like highlighters, you can color code your notes with your pretty pens.
Tip #4: Find a note taking style!
Now this one is kind of tricky because like I said before, with different teachers and topics, one style might be better than another. But one that I tend to use a lot is outlining, but I also like Cornell notes, bullet points, and lists. I don't recommend using paragraphs or mind mapping, but do whatever works for you!

That's it! I hope you enjoyed! If you have any more note taking tips or suggestions for post you want to see this month, leave them in the comments below or tweet me using the hashtag #xoxobts. My question for today is what's your favorite thing to do when getting ready to go back to school? Mine would defiantly be shopping, supplies and clothes. Let me know your answer in the comments or once again you can use the hashtag #xoxobts on twitter or instagram. . . I mean I love back to school anyway, but another reason to shop is ok with me because if im being honest, I don't need one! "I need to go get some exercise, so Im going to walk around the mall!" :D I don't know what it is about shopping that I love. . . maybe its the actual action or finding new things or spending someone else's' money. . .?
