Hey guys,
I am very excited for today's post because its my first lookbook and my first collab! I am really happy I was able to lose my collab virginity with Brittany from the Broke Black Chick. She is one of my greatest fashion idols and overall, a wonderful gal. Today, we decided to do a fall/winter fashion essentials and how we style them. Make sure you check out her post here for 3 additional essentials and fall/winter outfit inspiration.
Essential #1: Boyfriend Cardi! I styled this black floral boat-neckline shirt from JCPenny with my Arizona skinnies also from JCPenny. I then topped it off with my white knitted boyfriend cardi from old navy and my brown comfort plus booties from Payless. If you wanted to add more dimension and color to this look you could rock a pair of color pants with a printed top and neutral color cardi. |
Essential #2 Collar Shirts! I took my collar shirt of choice, a chambray top from old navy, and layered it underneath this ooh la la sweater from old navy. Then I paired it with my decree jeans from JCPenny and my JustFab combat boots. To make this look more preppy, you could rock riding boots instead of combat boots (outfit hint: if you collar on your collar shirt is not sitting right, iron it. It takes like 3 minutes and makes a world of a difference :) |
Essential #3: Oversized Sweater! I got this black and white striped sweater from Sam's Club, believe it or not, and paired it with this aeropostale scarf. I am once again rocking my Arizona jeans from JCPenny and these boots were a gift, so I have no idea where they are from. :C Im sorry! To switch up this look, you could do print on print (Like me!) or print on solid |
Well that's it! Let me know in the comments which outfit you like the best and some of your fashion essentials for the colder months. Also, don't forget to check out Brittany's post for more essentials and outfit inspiration.
