Hey guys,
I hate self-tanner! Every time I try to self-tan, I get streak marks and the color doesn't come out the way I want to it to. Something goes wrong no matter how hard I try and no matters what tanner I use. I did recently, however, notice that I tan quite easily on my own and don't tend to burn. So for all my sisters who want to fake a fake tan or enhance their natural one, here my top 5 ways to get a perfect summer glow!

So for all my sisters who want to fake a fake tan or enhance their natural one, here my top 5 ways to get a perfect summer glow!
Highlighter
An amazing highlighter is key when it comes to perfecting your summer glow! If you're fair to medium, you should stick with the more pearl pinky toned highlighter. If you're tan to dark, you should lean towards the golden bronzy tones. For wear, I like to mix my body highlighter in with my lotion and my face highlight with my moisturizer. You could also apply your highlight directly to the top of your check bones, bridge of your nose, on your chin, and your cupids bow. The highlight I like for my face and body is the NYX Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator in Gleam
Bronzer
If a tan is what you after, bronzer is the next best thing to a real one! If you want a highlighter, blush, and bronzer all in one-- go for a bronzer with some shimmer in it and apply it to the apple of your cheeks. If all over bronze is your aim, try a bronzer 1-2 shades darker than your skin tone and apply like a powder with a light hand.
Tinted Daily Moisturizer
I love daily moisturizers with a little bit a tint if I know that I want that color for extended amounts of time or if Im going to the beach of pool vacation. These are perfect because I never have a problem with streaking, they last longer than self-tanner, they have SPF, and they apply easily (like a lotion). I love the Jergens Natural Glow for body and face.
Jergens BB Body
This is actually a specific product that I recommend. I love this BB cream for you body by Jergens. It gives a healthy glow to your skin and evens out your skin tone without adding an actual color to your skin. This is perfect for gals who already have a darker complexion and just want to perfect it. Plus, its a lotion and works overtime to even out your complexion and firm your skin
Body Oil
This is another great option for those you want a glow without the extra color. Body oil is a wonderful light weight moisturizer for the summer and gives you that "I just stepped out of the water looking all sexy and sun kissed" look. My favorite is the Neutrogena Body Oil.
I hoped this was helpful with finding the perfect product to give you your summer time glow. I tend to use all 5 of these tricks at different times of the summer for different looks and wear times. Let me know down below what trick, whether listed above or not, down below. Tweet me with the #beachesandbikinis to let me know what trick your gonna try out this summer and any post you would like to see for the rest of the month!
