Hi guys,
Since August and summer is coming to a close, I wanted my last back to school post to be fashion related. Some how fashion helps me get through my summer blues. I think its because I love fall fashion, so it gets me excited for fall. . . I don't know exactly how my brain works! Any who, since I used to wear school uniforms, I wanted to share some of my tips and tricks on how to personalize and make your uniform that much more fabulous!!

Any who, since I used to wear school uniforms, I wanted to share some of my tips and tricks on how to personalize and make your uniform that much more fabulous!!
#1: Texture:
Since a lot of uniforms have color limitations, texture is the best way to go! Layer up your polo or collard shirt with a textured cardigan, wear that patted leather jacket, and rock those furry sweaters!
#2: Layering
Speaking of layering, layering textures and colors really make an outfit look more put together and is perfect for fall coming around. I have a tip Tuesday all about layering (which you can check out here) and those tips and tricks will defiantly come in handy for dressing up your school uniform!
#3: Accessorize
The best way to dress up ,and especially customize, your uniform is through accessorizing. And I am not just talking jewelry! You can accessorize through shoes, scarfs, your backpack, hair, nails, makeup, etc. Anywhere and everything you can add a personal touch on, do it :D
#4: Fit, Fit, Fit
Now this is really important for just about any form of fashion. If you are a Fashionista, you know fit is everything. It can dramatically change how your outfit looks. So if you wear skinny uniform pants and then pair it with your polo and layer an oversize sweater on top, you instantly look more like you are about to go shopping with your girls rather than going to school in a uniform! So play around with different fits, but remember to try to keep a balance. Don't wear an outfit that to loose or baggy or an outfit that's too tight and clingy.
