The Holidays are finally blessing us with their presence and that means Christmas dinner, cookies, desserts, and veering of the course of our healthy lifestyles. This is the perfect timing to share some tips and tricks I have to staying fit during this time of ultimate temptation.
The Holidays are finally blessing us with their presence and that means Christmas dinner, cookies, desserts, and veering of the course of our healthy lifestyles. This is the perfect timing to share some tips and tricks I have to staying fit during this time of ultimate temptation.
1. Portion control-- I find this to be the easiest to achieve. I trick my eyes by filling up a small plate so it seems like i am eating more than I really am!
2. Moderation-- for deserts, make sure that you eat those in moderation. I tend to have 2-4 desserts in total but small things like 1 cookie and 1 brownie or 1 piece of cake and a cookie. Small deserts in moderation.
3. Quick Workouts-- now most of us won't have an hour or two to put to working out everyday once the holiday roles around, but a quick, intense 15-25 minute workout is feasible to get some type of physical exertion in.
