My Big Chop
I was very nervous to get my big chop, but as soon as it was over I felt liberated. Like all this weight just fell right off. I really enjoyed the actual cutting, which is weird I know! And then afterward, I was in a state of shock for at least a day that A) I even had the courage to do it and B) my hair was so short!
Fake It Until You Make It
Tip #1: I know not all gals who start this journey like there short, so you gotta fake it until you are comfortable and love your hair and I promise that day will come when you look in the mirror and you love your fro.
Take Care of What You Got!
Tip #2: I know that sometimes, even my non natural sisters, start to fantasize about longer hair and get girl crushes and beauty inspiration, but don't let that distract you from what you have. The only way you're going to grow your hair is if you take care of what you have!
My Hair Growth
Here are some pictures of how my hair has grown in the last 2 years!
Well that is all! If you have also gone natural recently or 2 years ago or longer, please share some of your tip and tricks and other stuff that you have learned through out your journey! I hope you have a wonderful day :D
