Hello beauties,
I have recently just finished reading a beauty read
called No More Dirty Looks. This book was all about revealing the nasty
chemicals in our beauty products, informing you on how they can affect
us short term and long term. But don't worry they also show you how to find
better, healthier alternatives that work the same ,if not better!

(I actually updated my good reads frequently while reading this book, if you
would like to check that out click here. While your there, don't forget to friend
me!) The amazing co-authors for this book, Siobhan O’Connor and
Alexandra Spunt, did an amazing job on this piece of art. They really
break down everything and make hardcore science and chemistry into something you
can actually understand. They give you an insight into the beauty industry
and help you decipher those pesky ingredient labels, telling you what to avoid
and look for, helping you find those organic products that will have a
great impact on your skin, hair, body, face, even nails. Every product mentioned
in their novel has been tried first hand by these two lovely women, so you know
that they're all highly recommended and loved. They also can recommend a wide
variety because they have different skin types, hair types, and preferences.
All in all, this book is a must read for anyone trying to convert over to
team green when it comes to beauty. I gave this book at a 4 out of 5 stars. It's
really a must read for anyone with a face! :) I also recommend you check out
their website/blog. They also have a monthly subscription box if your lost on
things to try! I hope you guys check this book out!

These amazing women have inspired me to join the green team and I hope you guys do the
same. I will be sharing my journey on my blog. You guys can leave suggestions in
the comment section below or tweet me with the #OrganictBeauy. I will be doing
reviews and DIYs of organic beauty products and I hope you guys check them out.
Since I will be going organic-- I will have to basically trash my whole skincare
regimen and try new things so I have decide to start a series call the
#BeautyBasics. With this series, I will be doing informative post on different
skincare products and their functions. I hope this will help my viewers,
especially my younger ones, on how to build their skincare regimen based on
concern, skin type, and age.
Don't forget to subscribe via email or bloglovin. Comment down below and give me any
suggestions for any one of the series I'm going to be starting up. I'd like to
know what your favorite organic beauty product is or if there is one you would
like me to purchase and review, let me know in the comment section. Check out
and follow my social media. Other than that...
