Hello loves,
Note that I am going to sound super cliché, but June went by so fast! This year is going to go by really fast (We are halfway through the year, for crying out loud). I need to have more fun. I feel like all that I do is blog and eat and watch TNT shows. Not that's not fun, its just that my whole life. You know what I mean? I just... need to do more things that I enjoy. Speaking of things that I enjoy, I have a monthly favorites post for you all today. I have couple of makeup, hair, and nail bits that I have been obsessed with recently. And a couple of books, movies, and tv shows that I want to share!

Beauty
Simple Facial Cleansing Wipes
These wipes are amazeballs! They literally melt the makeup off your face. They remove stubborn eyeliner and mascara and I can do my whole face and my eyes with one wipe! They are saturated and the formula is absolutely amazing. Plus, the brand is known for very clean ingredients!
L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Butterfly Mascara
This mascara is the bomb, with a capital B. I have really short, stubby lashes and usually lengthening mascara doesn't do anything for my lashes. But this one lengthens, adds a little bit of volume, defines, and holds a curl. A definite repurchase in my book!
Revlon Liquid Dry Topcoat
I usually don't like topcoats, as a bad habit I tend to skip them. Simply because all the ones that I have tried are super thick and gloopy, plus they take centuries to dry. This liquid dry by Revlon is the exact opposite, It is really thin, it adds great shine, has amazing wear, and the dry time is phenomenal. Super happy to have found this! I am saying super a lot...
Sally Hanson Hard as Nails (Fuchsia Power)
I am in love with this color! I don't know what it is about fuchsia for me this month, but I have been kinda overtop with the color. I have rocked this color all month, chips and all. I have at least repainted this color 3 times this month! That's all I have to say.
The Body Shop Shower Gel (Sweet Lemon)
I bought this shower gel last year around New Year's, the scent was being discontinued so I picked one up! I have just gotten around to using it because the scent was for spring/summer time. And can I tell you, I wish that this scent hadn't gotten discontinued, but I do love the formula of the shower gel and I do believe I need more! What is your favorite body shop product because I really want to try more from the line, but I have no idea where to start!
The Body Shop Body Butter Duo (Floral Acai)
I cannot believe I have been neglecting this amazing moisturizing source of awesomeness (that made no sense, but just go with it). Its absolutely amazeballs. If you have ever even heard about the body shop, you have heard about this body butter. Therefore, I have no further comments on its fantastic power to give me amazing looking skin :)
Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant
This is probably really TMI, but I sweat a lot. Probably a lot more than the average human should, and it obviously gets worse during the hot, humid months of the Chicago summer. So I have been using this and I love it! It really helps prevent sweat and stench. I highly recommend this for all my sweaty sisters!
Shea Moisture Curl and Style Milk
I wanted a product that was lighter than a gel, yet not will get crunchy or melt through out the day because of the heat. I crossed reference all these variables using YouTube and google and found this baby! I love this milk, Its moisturizing and I don't have to apply it everyday like I would do for a gel. A clear winner in all things hair for me.
As I Am Coconut Co-wash
I have heard every natural hair guru rave about this conditioning cleanser, so I finally picked it up. And I promise you it lives up to the hype. It is super creamy and it has great slip. It doesn't lather because its all natural, but it does clean very well and leaves behind amazing moisture. I highly recommend this product.

Movies, Books, and TV Shows
City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare
If you have already checked out my review on this book (which you can check out here), you know that I have such mixed emotions about this book. I cant really decide whether or not I really liked it but it was a fun read so it was defiantly a favorite!
The Abundance of Katherines by John Green
I loved this book! Which is no surprise because I would read John Green grocery list. But this book, I have to say is probably more interesting. It was an amazing becoming of age story which John Green specializes in. I don't have a review of this up on my channel, but if you would like one, I would be more than happy to oblige!
Maleficent
I had serious doubts that movie was going to be as awesome as it was. But I am proud say I was wrong. I loved this movie and shall buy it as soon as it hits the shelves! (And lets hope that is really soon) I have a pretty in depth review of this movie, if you want more info, check out that post here!
How to Train your Dragon 2
I also have a review up on my blog about this amazing movie already, so I'll give you the Cliffs notes. This movie was so amazing! I don't usually like to watch sequels cause I always feel like they are never as good as the first movie. But I've said it before and Ill say it again, it was even better than frozen. Something to defiantly look into!
The Fault in Our Stars the Movie
It wouldn't be a June 2014 Favorites without mentioning this movie that has America bawling in their seats. Even I teared up at this movie which usually doesn't occur (granted I also cried during both Frozen and How to Train your Dragon 2). This movie was literally a copy of the book onto the big screen and I loved every second of it. If you take anything away from this favorites post at all, its to see that movie! Check out the review I did here.
Castle and Bones
I recently just finished all 8 seasons of Criminal Minds, so I needed a new source of criminal justice awesomeness. I found these two tv shows on the TNT network and I have to say I am really enjoying them. Castle is about a writer who rides along with a homicide detective to get inspiration for his novels. And Bones is about an forensic anthropologist ( a doctor who studies bones) that aids an FBI agent in discovering their victims from their remains and helps track down the killer. They are both really awesome shows and if you love the who criminal mystery shows like I do, I guarantee you will enjoy them both.
And those are my monthly favorites. A little on the hefty side right? I did though discovery and enjoy all these products immensely and just had to share them with you! I hope you enjoyed :) What were your favorites this month?
